The term “Bench to Bedside” is used to describe the process by which the results of research done in the laboratory are directly used to develop new ways to treat patients.

We, at the Galway Neuroscience Center (GNC), are a group of neuroscientists who embed this ‘Bench to Bedside’ concept into the core of our work. We have recently developed new scientific knowledge in both the understanding of mental health problems and neurological conditions and in discovering and testing new treatments that can help. This Bench to Bedside (B2B) website exists to let you know about our recent work focused on these aims.
